LightCastle recently co-hosted an event in Singapore on the investment opportunities in Bangladesh, in collaboration with Startup Dhaka and Accelerating Asia. I had the privilege of presenting the opportunities for entering Bangladesh as an international investor, with focus on sector specific opportunities, policy imperatives and benefits of operating in Bangladesh.

Conducted a session on market map and customer strategy development for the cohort members of GP Accelerator.
The UN Global Compact Network Bangladesh recently organized the 2nd Project Camp of the Young SDG Innovators Programme. The attendees included mid-level members from UN Global Compact member companies- Green Delta Insurance, DBL Group, Epyllion Group, Square Consumer Products, Mutual Trust Bank, LEAD, Tosrifa Industries etc. Enjoyed interacting with the talented group of professionals looking to foster innovation across their organizations. We discussed ideation tools, sustainable business models, pretotyping tools and other strategies for achieving different SDG goals within the framework of their business operations.
LightCastle is currently working with IFC and WEConnect International for supporting emerging female led ventures having the potential for growth. To this end, these female led ventures are receiving customized capacity building support, forward market linkages with large corporations and potential opportunities for fund raising. Through this interview, I deliberate on the mission for running is program.
Zahed presented findings of the study on the growth prospects of the Digital Marketing industry in Bangladesh at Re.Con, an event hosted by Robi, a leading telecom service provider in Bangladesh.
